The APSIM consortium consists of six partners, the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS) of the National Technical University of Athens, the companies, Comic and GEOANALYSIS, the Ephorate of Antiquities of Cyclades, the Department of Archeology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki – Dion Excavation and the Epigraphic Museum of Athens.
The Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS) of the National Technical University of Athens has undertaken the coordination of the project, while the three archaeological sites are represented by the Ephorate of Antiquities of Cyclades, the Department of Archeology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki – Dion Excavation and the Epigraphic Museum of Athens.
Project partners are fully complementary and also clearly distinct, aiming to bring together different areas of expertise to successfully accomplish the project’s goal and create a new technological path for Greece’s archaeological treasures.
