Επίσκεψη στην Πανεπιστημιακή ανασκαφή του Δίου Πιερίας πραγματοποίησαν στις 13 Σεπτεμβρίου οι εταίροι του έργου APSIM!
Σκοπός της επίσκεψης ήταν η επισκόπηση του αρχαιολογικού χώρου και του μνημείου το οποίο θα αναδειχθεί μέσω της τεχνολογίας επαυξημένης πραγματικότητας στο πλαίσιο του έργου.

Κατα την επίσκεψη, έγινε λεπτομερής ανάλυση των χαρακτηριστικών κατασκευής του μνημείου και των ευρυμάτων της ανασκαφής ενώ συζητήθηκαν οι βασικές τεχνολογικές αρχές της εφαρμογής και η πρσδοκώμενη εμπειρίας επίσκεψης για τους χρήστες.
Στην επίσκεψη παρευρέθηκαν εκπρόσωποι από την ερευνητική ομάδα ISENSE του ΕΠΙΣΕΥ, τις εταιρίες ΓΕΩΑΛΥΣΗ Α.Ε. και COMIC καθώς και από το τμήμα Ιστορίας και Αρχαιολογίας του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης.
