Dr. Tank BBA Remover Tabs are effective against stubborn black brush algae, also known as black beard algae. When used in combination with consistent tank cleaning maintenance, visible algae is reduced and overall health is improved.
Key Features
- Suitable for prevention and treatment of black brush algae (BBA).
- Works best when used alongside regular tank cleaning and maintenance to achieve optimal outcomes. This product will not cure BBA on its own.
Product Specifications
- Includes 50 tabs per bottle.

Dosing:
- Dissolve 1 tab per 20 mL of clean water in a spray bottle. The tablet dissolves in approximately 1 hour.
- Turn off the filter for 30 minutes, then spray at least 2 mL of the solution onto each affected section.
- Expect to see the BBA turn red as it begins to break down within 48 hours.
- Max Daily Dose: 1 tab for every 50L / 13G
- If you have sensitive plants, please change 1/3 water after application.
